MarineSpace Globe MarineSpace Ltd And COVID-19

As the COVID-19 outbreak develops, individuals and companies have a responsibility to act in line with official guidance, in order to limit the impact of this global health emergency and protect vulnerable individuals. MarineSpace is responding to the current situation in a number of ways to ensure the safety and well-being of staff and their families, whilst also maintaining business continuity and services to their clients.

At present, in line with recent advice from the UK Government, all MarineSpace staff have been advised to work at home until further notice and limit all non-essential travel. MarineSpace possesses the IT infrastructure and management processes to facilitate remote working whilst continuing to fulfil the Company’s work responsibilities and project delivery tasks.

The MarineSpace Board of Directors is fully aware that remote working may pose some specific challenges, both from a work perspective and also from a more general well-being perspective. These challenges are being addressed across the company and support is being offered to all staff to ensure that they are content and productive and remain healthy.

Finally, it is entirely likely that over the coming weeks, members of the MarineSpace staff may either be infected by the novel coronavirus, be at risk of infection through contact with an immediate family member or be required to manage issues related to closure of schools or nurseries. The MarineSpace Board of Directors is providing, and will continue to provide, information and support to all staff to ensure that they are able to manage these potential challenges. Provision of information and support will continue for as long as is necessary.

MarineSpace is a company built on the skills, expertise and experience of its staff. The company prioritises two things; the health and well-being of its staff and delivery of high-quality products and services to its clients. These two priorities are intrinsically linked and will remain at the forefront of everything the company does, both during the current health emergency and in the future.
