Katie Cross elected to chair the Marine Environmental Science Special Interest Group

MarineSpace Senior Consultant Katie Cross has been elected to chair the Marine Environmental Science special interest group (SIG) run by the Society for Underwater Technology (SUT) following the first meeting on 11 February.

Katie commented:

“As an Environmental Scientist for nearly 20 years it is a great pleasure to be chairing the SUT Marine Environmental Science Special Interest Group (MESSIG). I hope that this group will be a successful forum for myself and other members of the marine environmental sector to discuss and share ideas, and develop concepts & policies which will benefit not only our own interests, but also the wider marine sector.”

MarineSpace is looking forward to seeing the progress of the SIG over the next few months as it brings together a range of organisations and individuals all with a common interest in the marine environment.
