Ana Chaverra joins MarineSpace

Ana has recently joined MarineSpace as a Marine Consultant in the Norwich office. Before joining the company, Ana worked as a Senior Reporting Scientist in the offshore energy sector. During this time her work focused mainly on the benthic environment. She was responsible for the analysis, interpretation and presentation of environmental data in reports, including chemical, physical and biological data. Before this, she was a research intern with Cefas and assisted with species distribution models for sea pen species in the North Sea. Ana studied Marine Biology and Costal Ecology at Plymouth University, and during her degree spent six months as a research intern at Estación Costera de Investigaciones Marinas (ECIM). At ECIM she conducted a research project comprising of field work experiments, long-term monitoring, analysis of data and reporting of scientific research.
